Who We Work With

AJB Foundation

United Kingdom

AJB Foundation works with Books & Beyond to complete the library at HGM Vitale School in Kathonzweni, Makueni County. Its current appeal — Help AJ Build a Library in Kenya, in honour of AJ's love of books — collects reading books for children aged 4 to 12 from families and communities in the UK.

"A" is for Africa

United Kingdom

A is for Africa leads the international side of two library projects reaching 1,353 learners in Makueni County — fundraising, European school book drives, and shipping books to Kathonzweni. Beyond books, its network offers leadership mentoring for headteachers, teacher training and professional development, and school-to-school exchanges so children in Europe and Kenya read, write and learn together rather than one simply giving to the other.

Bolder Learner Tech School

Kenya

Bolder Learner Tech School teaches coding and robotics to children across Kenya — from first blocks in ScratchJr through Scratch, Python and web development to competitive robotics teams. It ran as an in-house project at Tinker Education from 2020 before becoming a company of its own in 2024. Surina and Keisha learned to build here, and the Books & Beyond platform grew out of that. Led by Harrison Gitau, BLTS helps to build and maintain the Books & Beyond platform.
